Business Model

The goals of the “eglasovanje.si” project by the umbrella institute IP21 are:

1. To develop an open-source secret e-voting system that is suitable and practical for real-world use.
2. To provide a free platform for secret e-voting for all organizations that lack the technical and/or financial capacity to implement it on their own.

While we financed the development of the first version of the system ourselves (through voluntary work), long-term maintenance of the system and platform requires funding.

To this end, we have prepared a pricing model that offers the platform for free to the smallest organizations and at a low cost to most others. The price is based on the size of the organization, not the scope of voting, as we do not want to limit organizations whose goal is to increase internal member participation through more frequent decision-making.

The funds raised will be used within the non-profit IP21 institute for the maintenance and development of the system and platform.

In addition to subscriptions, we also collect donations, which will be used for the same purpose, and we are also expanding the institute's team.
